Wildlife Angels

Dedicated to Conservation Aviation

Conservation Aviation is the best tool to counter poaching over the vast areas of National Parks and Preserves in Africa and around the world. While most nations have good policies for conservation, they lack the resources to enforce those policies. Wildlife Angels is an NGO charity that funds and supports government and private wildlife conservation aviation efforts.

It is widely known that poachers are deterred and often captured through the use of aircraft. Aircraft are the only means to patrol thousands of square miles of elephant and rhino habitats. Poachers know they can hide and avoid park rangers but they are easily spotted and captured by the same rangers with aircraft support.

The Kenya Wildlife Service Air Wing is a critical component of the counter poaching efforts in Kenya. They fly Cessna 185, Cessna Caravan, Husky, and Cub aircraft. They also fly Bell 407 helicopters.

Orphaned elephants are the result of poaching. Orphans are left to die unless they are cared for by conservationists. An expensive endeavor but necessary to preserve wildlife populations.

Kilaguni Serena Airstrip is critical for conservation aviation assets used to patrol Tsavo National Park in Kenya.

Aircraft are required to monitor and census a variety of wildlife to assess their health in the face of development and other forms of human encroachment.

Orphaned elephants and rhinos have to be cared for by conservation organizations. This is largely done by financial support from organizations like Wildlife Angels. After years of intensive training and rehabilitation, the juveniles may be returned to the join wild herds.

Wildlife Angels Inc. is dedicated to support conservation aviation to deter and end poaching of these beautiful animals.
